TV and radio advertising for the agency has caused quite a stir in some quarters of the US media and bringing into question the role of marriage and monogamy in society at a time during heightened debate surrounding such issues.
The Ashley Madison agency advocates the reckless abandoning of love and partnership for a fling with an unknown lover. The media and advertising campaign has been intense and controverstial to say the least.
To participate in the agency program a fee off US 249 must be paid. Giving the customer access to the "affair guarantee program," which pledges you to find "someone" within three months or your money back. To ensure that you keep up your end of the bargain, you must set up an attractive profile with photo, send at the very least 60 priority mail messages to different members, send five Ashley gifts, and engage in at least 180 minutes of instant messaging during that time frame.
Journalist Leigh Reigns decide to do some undercover work on the agency, buying a chance to meet desperately seeking attaches.
